I haven't been updating this site for quite some time. The same thing happened all over again and this time round i wasn't strong enough to handle the trauma. Yes, i broke down almost immediately and many things went through my head. Why this thing just have to happen again? I was crushed and lost almost all hope in all the things i do. I am still shaken by this, but i know i need to pull myself back together. I have to and i want to. I am really tired of working, i really wish to go back to any school and just study. Humans are just weird. When we have the chance to study, some just hope they could stop studying and earn some money. But when we really step out to the society and work, we hope that we could go back to school and allow ourselves to be dependent on our parents to support us so that we don't have to worry about money issue. Other than studying, i miss all my friends. I haven't been meeting up with them. =( Sigh.. The month of march is really an emotional month for me. Nevertheless, I'm thankful for my family, friends and not forgetting my bf to be always by my side supporting me when i'm at my lowest. Love you guys. Really i do.

Hmmm.. for the past few days i was feeling alright until just now. I was thinking what if history repeats itself? Or what if i didn't do well enough to satisfy my expectations. hmmm... Bf is on the plane and is on his way to India. I'm actually much more worried for his safety there in India than my soon to be released A levels results. =( But luckily, he will be away only for about 2 weeks unlike the previous trip to Taiwan. 12 march please come quick!

Anyway, my contract is ending in about one month's time and i am contemplating whether to extend it. I have to give a reply to my supervisor the week after the release of A level result week. So that means, when people are deciding where and what uni courses to go i will be thinking about my contract instead. Hopefully i can find another job if i really decided not to extend. I'm quite troubled over this matter.. Oh wells, i will think again after my results is released.

Anyway, I quite glad that i am more or less on the right track achieving my new year's resolutions. Firstly, i have stopped procrastinating and forced myself, together with melsa, to get my butt down to ubi driving centre and booked my btt date. Secondly, I passed my btt at the first try (I'm just left with ftt and tp). Thirdly, bf and i quarrelled really much lesser now as compared to last year Jan and Feb. Fourthly, we became more understanding towards each other, tried a few new stuffs like flying a kite (but it was an failure attempt, but we decided go marina barrage some other time and make that attempt a successful one) and finally, we have successfully caught another carebear from those UFO machine (haha). Lastly, I've successfully cliched a tuition job! I put in a lot effort in preparing the lesson okay! I threw all my e math textbooks thinking i won't have to use it anymore and keep only my a math textbooks. How dumb of me. I had to source for materials in 6 days and I'm only free at night but most nights I'm already half dead. But i really have to thank victor for recommending me to tutor the girl. I really appreciate that a lot. =) Now i hope to achieve even more and not let history to repeat itself.

I'm really busy or rather work take up a lot of my time that i have yet to upload my CNY's pictures and a few others... Whenever i have time i will upload my pictures or blog about my life. Alright i guessed i will stop here for now. I wished i could continue on but i have things to do.. bye peeps.

I can forsee OT-ing almost everyday. I work at a snail pace (as compared to my other colleagues) and still make some mistakes here and there. Dammit seriously. That's what you get when you are not putting your heart into the things that you are doing. BIG BIG SIGH. Seriously torturing to travel all the way to YCK and to stay at the office. =( Endless of work and unseen politics around the office. I really disdain what i'm doing everyday. Sucking my precious life and time away. =( But still, as much i hate what i'm doing right now.. I will not, not do it right and will not leave any outstanding for the next day. I will still try my very best to do it right.

Everyday in the office i wished that tmr is Friday. And when Friday comes, i will tell myself T.G.I.F. And when Sunday comes, i will whine and whine to anybody (wm gets that a lot from me) that tmr is Monday. Working really takes up major part of your life man. If you are doing something you don't even like doing, you will feel that you are wasting your life. Yup that's right! LIFE and not time. That's what I'm feeling right now man! My life is wasted from 8.45am to 6.15pm from Monday to Friday. Everyday i will face the computer which dint even have Internet access other than the company's portal itself. I can't check my personal email, i can't blog, i can't read online news, i can't facebook, i don't even know what going on out there in the world other than what's happening in the office and tons and tons of applications.Oh wells, at least i'm doing and learning something new now. But... I'm learning the stuff I'm supposed to do at such a snail pace and i felt so bad that i can't really help out my colleagues in the work load that we face daily. But really... i can feel that my work load is increasing as the day passes. But... i really felt very bored doing all the paper works which are so god damn tedious and complicated. One applications have so many procedures to follow and i always have that tendency to forget one or two steps. I really have endless of complains to make regarding work but i guess i shall not bore you guys.

Like finally i gotten myself a job. Will be working in Maybank at some ulu industrial area at ulu yck/amk. It's gonna be 3 months of work or it can be 3 months of torture. Hope work won't be that bad, heard from the callie it's gonna be quite slack in the morning. Sigh.. Actually, I'm quite dreadful to start working... Doing something that is not of your interest can be quite torturing yea? I'm still hoping for a job in the health care sector or be a relief teacher teaching the class chem, maths or bio (not relieving the class doing nothing). But chances to get those job is quite low yea? =( Passion brings joy to someone.. It's true man! Now I'm also troubled over what i really want to do in the future. Should i major in chem or bio? Should i be a nurse? Should i be a pharmacist if my result is freaking fantastic? =/ Oh well, i will have to look at my result first before i can make any decision.. As for now, TIME TO SEARCH FOR TUITION JOB! Anybody whose siblings need tuition in areas like Maths, Chem, Bio or general science can kindly approach me!! =) Heh.

Almost everybody is typing their resolution for 2010 or recapping what had happened in 2009..

But I'm just stuck here, in the middle of nowhere. It's feel like 2008 going to 2009 again, just that now is 2009 going to 2010 - I'm still looking for a job, anxious for my results, hoping to get in to a uni and thinking when would i stop procrastinating and book a test date for my btt..

This year is in fact the craziest year of my life so far.. Many ups and downs. I'm glad that bf is still by my side supporting me. I want to change, grow up and take more responsibilities in 2010. But, how do i even make that first step? How do i make sure i really change? =/ Something for me to ponder yea?

Nevertheless, everybody - family, friends, whoever is reading my blog.. let's us countdown to a new beginning, hoping 2010 will be a good good year! =D

Venomous Aussie redback spiders invading Japan

TOKYO (AFP) - – Australia's venomous redback spiders are on the march in Japan, where they are believed to have arrived years ago as stowaways on cargo ships, a wildlife expert warned Wednesday.

The creepy-crawlies, named after their fiery markings, have infested the Osaka region and are drawing closer to the capital Tokyo, said Japan Wildlife Research Centre official Toshio Kishimoto.

A dozen people have reportedly been bitten in Osaka prefecture alone, media reports say, including a six-year-old boy who was treated with antivenom in June, the first time the medication had been used in the country.

"Their poison is strong and they are particularly dangerous to people in weak physical condition, like children and the elderly," Kishimoto told AFP.

"Redbacks are becoming a common species in Japan. They are very numerous, especially in the western region, and are now often sighted in residential areas.... Once the spiders spread, it's hard to eliminate them."

Redback bites, which inject a potent neurotoxin, have caused numerous deaths in Australia, although an antivenom stocked in hospitals has prevented fatalities more recently.

Redbacks were first spotted in Japan in 1995, around Osaka, a major port where, experts believe, they may have arrived in a container of Australian woodchips used to make paper in Japan.

Several years ago a major redback infestation was found in the street drainage system of the city, and the arachnids have now spread to prefectures covering roughly a third of the country.

In one case, a man moving from Osaka north to the Tokyo region by car unknowingly took a redback spider with him after the animal had latched onto the vehicle, the wildlife researcher said.

He said Japanese people must become more aware of the dangers of redbacks, a species long feared in Australia, where the creatures are known to lurk in garden sheds, in shoes left outdoors, and under toilet seats.

"People need to be warned on how to treat them, and to be careful when they're out cleaning ditches, and to wear thick cotton gloves for example," said Kishimoto.

I GOT BURSARY!

I should be happy. Happy to know that i actually did work hard this time round to be in the top 25% of the school cohort. But I'm actually very troubled. The letter states - to qualify, the household income must be 4K and below. After looking at it... my heart dropped, crashed and sunk. After working hard, you would want a reward. The reward came and go. It's like so near yet so far. Is this a sign/signal from gohonzon that bursary is not meant for me? And a even better thing is meant for me instead? Like a university scholarship? If that the case, I'm really keeping my fingers cross that i really do well for A levels.

Sigh. Shall concentrate on my last paper already. This is real dumb.

PS:/ MOE increased the bursary award from 300 bucks to 400 bucks. Kill me, please.

This week was indeed the craziest week i ever had this whole year. Nerve wrecking, heart pumping, adrenaline rushing. Nevertheless, I'm so glad they are soon to be over.. still alive yea, but i might just go MIA anytime from now.

School is getting very very tiring and it's gonna be even more tiring when week 5 comes. School gonna end like 6pm and maybe some of the days we have to stay back till 9pm just because the school wants us to stay back and make sure we do study. =( It's tres tres tiring i swear. It's worst than last year and last year i was already cursing and swearing that sch is already very tiring, this is 1000X worst than last year. =( OH WELLS, i just have to deal with it. 4 more months, 4 more months of tiredness to get a full A lvl cert i think is worth it.

Anyway, i have gotten back all my papers already. Not going to post my grades here. Not that i did uber bad. But i just see no reason to post my grades up here. =)

Today, my bf showed my picture taken together with him to his bunk mate, when his bunk mate saw my face, he immediately shook his head and said i wasn't pretty and rated my looks on the scale of 10, 2/10. FML

I seriously cannot believe it. I know i'm not pretty and average looking. But TWO out of ten? Are you kidding me? It's not funny at all, really not funny at all. =(

I think I'm so screwed.

I never know that if i replied to a overseas number I need to pay, cause at that moment I thought my unlimited free sms covers everything but in fact, it don't. =( Never mind i just have to pay $0.15 per msg and i only msged 12 msges.

BUT i never know that if an overseas number called me and i picked up the call i need to freaking pay. =( This time round, I need to freaking pay $2.15 per MIN. OMG. I. Am. So. Dead. Screwed.

I have not break this bad news to my dad yet. I'm just waiting for the bill to come and hope that i do not have to pay anything. =(

Anyway, holidays is going to end pretty soon. However, I'm secretly hoping that they would extend the holidays by one more week due to the H1N1 flu. I just need a little more time to do a little more practice. Or maybe I'm just too afraid to take the exams cause, I'm afraid that i can't do well. Bad experience from 08'Alevels. =(

On a completely different note, I have been running everyday, trying to keep fit, build up my stamina (I'm so sick of my short breathless) and ultimately, to lose all those fats. Man I'm really very determine this time round! =))

OH yea, before i end this entry.. I just met up with the girls today. Had dinner with them, chatted, laughed... oh man, i missed those days we had in sch. How i wished we could just turn back time, and we will do all those crazy stuffs all over again and i study even harder so i can make it to the uni with you guys. =(

Weird bus trips.

Do you guys encounter any weird bus trips before? I do not mean witnessing Singaporeans doing very unsightly stuffs when they are on the bus. What i meant was, have you ever encounter a bird just randomly flew into the bus and only to alight after a few stops? Or have you ever encounter the bus captain traveling the wrong direction that he should travel? I think i have very weird bus trips (at least to me, feel free to tell me your weird bus trips! ) . And maybe there are more to come next time. Haha.

Second week back to school was.... a tad boring. On Thursday, i verified my A levels stuffs and to my horror this year's A levels starts only at 10 Nov and my last paper going to end only at 3rd Dec. That's like one week later than the last A levels. Oh man, this time A levels is going to be very very mentally draining. =/

-- If only I'm more apathetic and less busybody, i wouldn't end up in a situation like this. It gets me thinking about what kind of person and friend i am. A part of me torn after hearing what had been said. I want to forgive and forget, yet another part of me don't want to let go. And now i am disgusted by the way i behaved. My coffee addiction is getting bad to worst. I drank coffee every morning before i go school just to perk me up every morning so i wouldn't look and sound so dead. But i didn't know the effect will be so so so huge when I'm off caffeine. I didn't drink coffee on sat and i was like feeling dead and sleepy through out the whole day! I tried not drinking today too. But i ended up with a horrible shitty headache which was "cured" by drinking a cup of coffee. Is it psychological or I'm really hooked on to caffeine? If it's the latter one, I'm so so dead. What if one day there's no more coffee?

Time to stock up more coffee! =/

I'm back to sch. It was really a very tough decision to make.. really. I'm hoping that i'm making the correct decision.

It wasn't that difficult to fit into my new class that i thought it would be. My classmates are very friendly, I'm glad they are. =) If any one time they chance upon my blog, i would like to say thank you to them by making my return back to sch less miserable. Lessons was alright and i have been doing my tutorials consistently, just that I'm very very worried for my gp and the tutor that i have gotten for gp.. sigh.. i don't wanna comment too much about this.

I am very energetic today cause i went back to my alma mater for relief teaching. It was relax, fun and can totally feel what my teachers felt when they were teaching me when i was a student. Man.. it's like a whole new experience standing infront of the class, not as a student, not as an ex- tpss student, but as a teacher. Thou i didn't teach anything, but i learnt that to control a class, grab the student's attention and to earn their respect isn't an easy job. If you were too tough on them they will find all ways and means to get back at you, but if you were easy on them, they totally take you for granted. But still, i think if i ever take up teaching as my future career, i think i will probably enjoy working. I don't know why, but i have that feeling i would love what i will be doing. Cause my main motive in life now and for the future is to help others in any aspect. That's why i made plans to work either in the healthcare sector or the teaching sector. Just that i pray hard that my A levels results turns out right. Anyway, i went up to band room with Mr Tan or rather, he brought me up to show me how this new yet old band room looks like. I tried playing the clarinet for a while and spend most of my time talking to Mr Tan. It's a great heart to heart talk with him. =) I wish that the school empoly me as a long term relief teacher so i can help Mr tan out in band. =)

1) To find a stable temp job which does not requires me to work during the weekends and pays me well which will last me from now till i further my education.

2) I want to have a stronger commitment in my religion, that is to chant more, attend all the monthly meetings, etc.

3) To do human revolution, that is for me to change to be a better person ( control my temper even more, talk nicely even anyone provoked me, think more rationally)

4) Pick up driving lessons and pass all the tests required at the very first try.

5) Hope to achieve good A levels result that allows me to enter into the local university.

I guess 5 would be enough. As time passes, i hope to achieve what i have typed today and add more resolutions. =)

one day before biology paper 3 [16-11-2008]

Went to mac cafe at downtown with jocelyn to mug for our biology. Ordered a cup of hot chocolate once i reached mac cafe. Went back to my seat to wait for the person to serve me my drink. And when the person served me my drink.. i was shocked cause.....

Damn cute right? It's a picture of a bear! I didn't expect that from the person. It was so cute that i can't bear to drink and destroy the picture at that very moment. hehe..

My 18th birthday! [17-11-2008]

My birthday was also the day that i had my biology paper 3. So i had a stressful birthday this year! But.... it was made better and wonderful by wm, my family and my wonderful wonderful friends! This is a super short summary of what happened on my birthday - Jocelyn called me at 12am, wished me happy birthday and asked me to go down. I went down and she passed me my present and then...!! wm surprised me with the cake that he made! =)) I was so happy, so touched that i was lost for words! hehe After my biology paper, went home... changed and went out with wm for lunch. Had seafood platter for two at Manhattan fish market. And went home for dinner at night. I had the best birthday of my life even though i didn't take any picture on that day. Thanks to all those who remembered my birthday, you know who you are. love you guys!!

One day before prom [30-11-2008]

Eadelin, melsa and jocelyn went over to my place to hang out and help out with ead's hair. I will never forget this day man. I was super guilty over something i did on that day. Me and my stupid itchy fingers. You will never guess what i had done. I use some wax that ead brought over to my place then later i used a brush to kinda tried to curl her hair. And the brush got stuck with her hair! Omg i was like panic cause the next day is like prom and i kinda messed up her hair. But luckily, i thought of an idea of how to untangle her hair from the brush.. By plucking out the "teeth" of the brush. THANK god/buddha/whatever i finally (with the help of jocelyn and melsa) untangled her hair. PHEW.. After that whole drama.. we watched little nyona (first epi cause ead missed the first epi and luckily i recorded it down) and after that ead went home with joseph, melsa went home for dinner, i met up with wm and went for late dinner with jocelyn and friend at 85 market.

Anyway, this September holiday is totally filled with econs homework. This is so pathetic. Almost everyone is like reacting wth-ly about the econs homework that our econs teachers gave us - Must not lose momentum day 1- 5. Wth is that man. Taking is fucking subject is far most the worst decision that i have made. No doubt econs is very practical in society explaining stuff like the inflation ( GST- every body's most hated term), why the prices of oil/rice increases and why is the Singapore dollar is appreciating? Yesterday was the national day celebrations. Chem lesson was relaxing for the very first time. It was basically "if you have any questions then ask" lesson. Since most of us didn't prepare/revise anything on chem, we ended up playing games from our phone/psp (pokemon-ing and bomberman-ing) and taking photos (look above). Hah.

I'm not selfish okay. The damn phone is spoilt and the warranty have already passed one year. I do not want to lie and fake a date on the stupid warranty card just to get the bloody phone repaired. Saving money is not like this, can't you learn from your lesson after that car coupon incident? Do you even remember what had happened 4 years back? I do not want to get into this kinda of shit trouble. No doubt wisma Sony Ericsson's service center is a different company from simei's service center, but lying is still wrong. What happened to all those moral value that you guys once taught us? Lying is bad, don't lie, don't cheat, are they all crap now? Are you like contradicting what you have preached/taught/practiced? And no doubt I'm having holidays now, haven't you realized that I'm having my A levels this year too? I don't want to waste my fking 30 mins just to get to wisma and spend another like 1 hr just to wait and to ASK whether the phone can be repaired or not and then waste another 30 mins just to get home. That 2 hours plus of time wasted can be used to do like more than 5 maths question okay. 2hours spend to get a phone repaired or 2 hours spend on maths or some other subjects that for my future. Even if the phone is repaired, tell me who in the house needs the phone? Saving money is definitely good, but not is this way..

Chinese homework is killing me. It's so ironic that i find Chinese language so foreign when I, myself is a Chinese. I think it's forgivable if I'm a mixed blood ( how i wish i am) but sadly, I'm not. Luckily, i just have to endure 1 more week of Chinese lesson and I'm never ever gonna take Chinese anymore. Never in my life. 12 years of Chinese education is more than enough torture for me. So.. by good or by crook, i have to get a pass for my A levels Chinese!! Must must must!! One more damn week and I'm free from Chinese man. Can't wait. =)))

Just finished doing binomial and poisson distribution ten years series questions. Phewww.. Hopefully by doing 12 questions on those two topics is enough practice for the upcoming maths test. There are two more topics and tons of homeworks left undone. No television shows, no surfing of the net from now on. Only to use the computer when work is completely and properly done well.

Holidays is nearing, and that's does not mean that i can use those time to slack and relax myself. I really hope that i have that self discipline to do constant revision for my A levels. Today's mood fluctuates like as if i'm riding on a roller-coaster ride. Morning was fabulous - woke up all by myself, reached school so early and daddy called me. Mood starts to plunge down when i'm doing the maths test, like when the damn roller-coaster zoom down from the peak. The maths test was alright, but it just dampens my whole mood. But mood peaks a little when i'm attending GP lesson, Mr Norman New was as crappy as ever. Today he told us one of his life story which made us laugh like mad. Mood continue to escalate until the end of the lesson. Then during the whole 1 and 1.2 hours of break before GP remedial, my whole mood was like shit, like the roller-coaster hanging in the air, creating suspension. And hell, i hate roller-coaster ride, hates heights, and still put me hanging in the air. Mood was horrible!!!

Firstly, I AM SO SICK THAT PEOPLE KEEP SAYING THIS JC1 GIRL LOOKS LIKE ME, VICE VERSA. I'm telling you guys, i am in fact, NOT happy about this. I DO NOT like to share looks with other people. I'm not saying that I'm very pretty and all, but i believe the girl and i would like this sense of identity of our own. Moreover, there aren't any features of hers is exactly the same as me, vice versa. Seriously, give us a break. I guess she is very sick of it as well. Mood was made worst when my friend said that i have a replica in school. Felt totally disgusted after hearing that. Replica? She isn't my clone or something (vice versa). Moreover, she isn't my twin, neither she's my blood related sister. Replica? Wrong usage of word my friend. So do me a favor, do not come telling me that oh queennie i saw your twin there or oh queennie you and your twin look damn alike. You want to know how a twin looks like? But when i was queuing for food, WAH LAU this two fking indian kids keep pushing and playing and keep bumping into me. DAMN IDIOTS, i don't know whether is it on purpose or they are really playing. BUT i was very fed up. My mood was Fk up and they come bumping into me. Not once la. Once twice i still can tolerate and forgive them cause they are still kids. Anyway, today's econs test was alright, i guess..... Had the feeling that i will do much better than mid-year, sooo... that's a good thing! I hope for this feeling to come true man! After econs test the class guys went to play bball, hj and i joined them for a while. After which, went out with the guys for lunch. Came home and slack my day away. tsk tsk tsk. Alright shall stop here luh. Blog tmr then.

Soooo.... these are all the pictures taken on that day. It was a happy happy happy day for all of us, not forgetting the anxiety we all had before the race. Of course there were disappointment and frustration but at the end of the day, happiness overwhelmed us all. This is the day that i will never forget.
